Warwick’s quahogging heritage will be celebrated with an outdoor concert by international jazz musician Greg Abate at the Third Annual Quahoggers Jamboree at Warwick Public Library , Wednesday, June 11.

The festivities begin at 5 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour a quahogging boat; record their quahog memories in a video photo booth; reminisce about seafood feasts and view a screening of “You Must Be This Tall: The Story of Rocky Point Park.” Visit the Poppy’s Gourmet concession tent to buy kettle corn, lemonade, and ice cream for the show.

At 6 p.m., learn the secrets of quahogging from commercial fishermen Dave Ghigliotty and Jody King. Hear “Clamcake Summer” and “Stuffie Summer” author David Norton Stone’s humorous quest to find the best clamcakes and stuffies in the state.

Stage, backed by Dave Zinno on bass, Ben Cook on piano, and Gary Johnson on drums. Abate brings an exciting and appealing take on bop and swing to a set of well-known standards and bebop classics.
