The Rhode Island Breakers boys’ basketball AAU team will be holding tryouts later this month for both its national and regional teams.
The longest running boys AAU program in Rhode Island, Southeastern Mass. and Eastern Conn., the Breakers will hold tryouts on Sunday, Jan. 19 and Monday, Jan. 20 at Ferri Middle School, located at 10 Memorial Avenue in Johnston.
For grades five and six, tryouts will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday and run until 7:45. On Monday, tryouts will begin at 6 p.m. and run until 7:30.
For grades seven and eight, tryouts will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday and go until 9. On Monday, tryouts will be held at the same time.
In each age group, kids trying out only need to attend one of the tryouts. The there is no tryout fee.
