Radio telethon raises $19,422 for Jimmy Fund

In support of the Jimmy Fund, a non-profit organization that raises funds to support cancer care and research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, WEEI/NESN held its 11th annual radio telethon at the Warwick Mall Tuesday and Wednesday. With a visit from Trent Whitfield and the team’s mascot, “Samboni” of the Providence Bruins, the radio telethon collected $19,422.33 for the cause.
