The Warwick Museum of Art is hosting an artist reception for its latest exhibit, “Moments in Time,” which Board Member Deb Mercer describes as a “unique sensory immersion into Asian arts and culture,” tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. The free event, co-sponsored by the Rhode Island State Council of the Arts as part of the "New Visions/New Curators" series, will feature an opportunity for the public to talk to two renowned artists from Sri Lanka and India; view works by Asian artists that are seldom seen in the U.S.; see traditional Kuchipudi dance based on Hindu myths; watch Mehndi Tattoo Art being applied or have it applied; see classical Natasin dance steps by the Laotian Dance Troupe; and taste refreshments with an Asian accent. The Kuchipuda Dance Troupe will perform at 7:30, and the Laotian Dance Troupe will follow at 8. The museum is located at 3259 Post Road.
