Raymond G. Royal, 68, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of Christine A (Ripa) Royal.
He was the of the late George and Mary (Adams) Royal. He had been employed as a driver and transportation clerk for RIPTA for 28 years before retiring in 2006. He was a member of ATU #618 and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Raymond was the father of Jennifer Royal (Christie Swett), Rob Beebe and Lee Royal (Gabrielle); grandfather of Calum, Isla, Aisling, Amelie and Brennan Royal.
Relatives and friends are invited to military honors at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, South County Trail, Exeter Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Please meet at cemetery entrance at 9:15 a.m.
