Raymond P. Leamy, age 84, of Hartford Place, Warwick, died on August 19, 2013 at Kent County Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Anne M. (DeRoche) Leamy.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Raymond A. and Stella F. (Waleiko) Leamy, he lived in Warwick for 54 years. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Leamy was employed by New England Telephone Co. for 33 years, retiring as a foreman in 1986.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Monica A. Carmichael and her husband, James of Lincoln, and Christine M. Clarkin of Charlestown; and six grandchildren, Candace A. D’Entremont, Joshua L. D’Entremont, Matthew J. Carmichael, Christopher R. Clarkin, Cheyenne E. Clarkin, and Cody W. Clarkin. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward Leamy and George Leamy.

His funeral will be held on Friday, August 23, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-7 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
