U.S. Sen. Jack Reed is currently accepting applications for fall interns to serve in his Cranston and Providence offices. Highly motivated college students are encouraged to apply. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, Sept. 30.
“This is a chance for students to gain valuable work and leadership experience and get a firsthand look at how the federal government works while also helping to serve fellow Rhode Islanders,” Reed said.
Interns in Reed’s office help research legislative issues and provide administrative support to the senator and his staff.
The internships are part-time and unpaid, but academic credit may be available for some schools.
Individuals interested in an internship with Reed’s office should apply online at www.reed.senate.gov/services/internships.
