Online registration for Apponaug Girls Softball is now open for the 2016 Spring Recreational season on its website, agsoftball.com. Come play for a fun, family-orientated league at its new complex, Winslow Park, at 300 Airport Road.

In person registration and skill assessments are also available and will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the big gym at Toll Gate High School. All new players in the Majors, Seniors and Masters divisions, as well as those players moving up a division (i.e. last year they were in the minors, this year they are moving up to the majors), are required to attend the skills assessments. Players in the instructional (6u) and minors (8u) divisions are invited to attend a free clinic from 11:30 to 12:30.

The skills assessment times are as follows: Majors Players (10u) from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Seniors Players (12u) from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Masters Players (14, 16, 18u) from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Players should wear sneakers and bring their glove, bat and helmet. If you want to register in person, please come before your scheduled time so that you will have time to fill out the registration form.

Teams will be formed shortly after the skills assessment and practices start April 1, 2016, with the schedule to follow. Opening day will be on Saturday, April 23.
