Rep. Solomon named to House Judiciary, Veterans’ Affairs Committees

Speaker of the House Nicholas Mattiello has appointed Rep. Joseph J. Solomon Jr. (D-Dist. 22, Warwick) to the House Judiciary and Veterans Affairs Committees

The Judiciary Committee considers all bills affecting the penal code, judicial system, ethics, open meetings, access to public records and election laws.

The House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs handles all legislation impacting the lives of Rhode Island veterans and those currently in military service.

Solomon is serving his first term in the Rhode Island House of Representatives.
