Barnes & Noble Warwick is pleased to host John Rooke for a talk & book signing for his book Rhode Island Radio on Saturday, February 9 at 1pm. The book boasts more than 200 vintage images, chronicling the humble beginnings of the industry of radio that RI helped shape. RI personalities & stations played a large part in overall industry concepts & growth. Salty Brine, Sherm Strickhouser, Jack Comley, Ed Pearson, Ernie Anderson, & Don Pardo are all names & voices familiar to the Ocean State.
