Richard A. Trottier, 89, died June 18, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Ann H. (Doherty) Trottier.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Oscar and Albertine (Martell) Trottier, he had been a resident of Warwick for 52 years. Mr. Trottier was a plasterer for 40 years, he was the owner of Brick-Stone-Stucco, Inc. A World War II Marine Corps veteran, he served in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the US Marine League and the Knights of Columbus.

He was the beloved father of Richard O. Trottier (Christine), Denise Burgess (Robert) and the late Pamela A. Gingrich; grandfather of Corinne Robertson, Kimberly Roberts and Robert Burgess, III. Also survived by three great-grandchildren. He was brother of the late Edmund and Robert Trottier.

His funeral will be held Friday, June 21, at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Church, Jefferson Blvd. Burial with military honors in Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 p.m.
