Richard D. Swanson, Sr., 73, passed away April 20, 2013 at home. He was the husband of the late Marcia J. (Leach) Swanson
He was a son of the late Carl and Ella (Whitney) Swanson. Richard was employed as operations manager for RJ Carbone Wholesale Florist for 35 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling.
He is survived by three children, Paula F. O’Neill, Richard D. Swanson Jr., and Stacey L. Perrier; one brother Carl “Sonny” Swanson, one sister, Nancy Hurdis; six grandchildren, Katherine and Kelly O’Neill, James and Dillon Swanson, Sadie and William Perrier.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Information and condolences, visit TheQuinnFuneralHome.com.
