Richard F. DeSimone, Jr., age 52, of Killdeer Road, Warwick, died on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Kent County Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Maria A. (Auger) DeSimone for 25 years.

Born in Warwick, and a life-long resident, he was the son of Joanne M. (Santagata) DeSimone of Warwick and the late Richard F. DeSimone, Sr. Richard was formerly employed as a postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a director for Surfers Healing, RI, which is a foundation for autism.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two sons, Nicholas J. DeSimone of Jersey City, New Jersey, and Anthony M. DeSimone of Warwick; and a sister, Sharon A. Cramer of Warwick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, October 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 1 p.m., in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick.
