Robert C. Blair, 72, of Bugbee Avenue died Saturday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Gail (Robinson) Blair and the late Judeth A. (Ingerson) Blair.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Robert and Muriel H. (Riley) Blair, he had been a Warwick resident for 54 years. Mr. Blair was a self-employed engineer and had previously worked for many firms before his retirement. He was a Past Grand Knight and longtime member of the Warwick Knights of Columbus Council 2295.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons: Christopher R. Blair of Biloxi, MS, Geoffrey S. Blair of Raleigh, NC, 2 daughters: Rebecca M. Blair of Cranston and Sheri D. Andrews (Mark) of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada; one brother, William B. Blair (Kathy) of Murrells Inlet, SC, three sisters: Holly Ann Klevas (Gerry) of Cranston, Laurie M. Mockler of Warwick and Beth B. Papaioannou (Gus) of Warwick. He was the Papa of Daniel, Declan, Lara, Annika and Mariyah and leaves many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. in the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Calling Hours 4-7 p.m. prior to the service.
