Robert E. Peloso, 91, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Home & Hospice Care of RI. He was the husband of the late Marguerite A. (Linehan) Peloso.

He was a son of the late Michael and Helen (Gleason) Peloso. Mr. Peloso was a master carpenter and was also formerly employed for the Narragansett Brewery and Monowatt General Electric. He enjoyed boating and shell fishing on Narragansett Bay for most of his life. Mr. Peloso was a Navy veteran of World War II and served in the Invasion of Normandy for which he received the Bronze Star.

He is survived by two sons, James M. Peloso and Timothy F. Peloso and his wife, Maureen; one daughter, Marjorie Peloso-Brown and her husband, Jim; three grandchildren, Robert Butler, Stephen Peloso and Heather Butler; three great-grandchildren, and his companion, Angela Markarian. He was the father of the late Betsy Peloso; and brother of the late Harold, Raymond, James and Francis Peloso and Dorothy Bush.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 26, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. with a service with military honors to follow at 11 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will be private.
