Robert H. Quinlan

Robert H. Quinlan, 60, of Waco Court, Warwick, died at home September 18, 2011. He was the husband of Kathleen (Knoble) Quinlan.
Born in Providence, a son of June E. (Wilcox) Quinlan of Coventry and the late William H. Quinlan, he was a lifelong Warwick resident. He was a 1969 graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School and a 1974 graduate of Northeastern University. He attended Suffolk Law School.
Mr. Quinlan was a field manager for SDDS, Inc. of Buford, Ga. He was a former member and chairman of the Warwick School Committee. He was a coach with the Warwick National Little League during the 1980s.
Besides his wife and mother he is survived by a son, James W. Quinlan of Coventry; a brother, Thomas W. Quinlan of Coventry; three sisters, Pamela Wilkinson of Warwick, Susan St. Sauveur of Exeter and Jayne Springer of West Greenwich; and two grandchildren, Alexander and Kylie Quinlan.
His funeral will be held Sept. 23 at 9 a.m. from Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Clement Church, Long St., Warwick. Visiting hours are Sept. 22 from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
