Robert M. Cintolo, 80 of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of Nancè J. (Cobb) Cintolo.

Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Francis V. and Martha (Roberts) Cintolo.

He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. Robert was a golf professional at Warwick Country Club for several years and was the co-owner of Fairwood Country Club, in Union, South Carolina along with his children. Golf was his passion; he also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bob was a lifetime member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Vincent E. Cintolo, of Warwick, Victor E. Cintolo, and his wife, Cathy, of Greenville, Valerie C. Haxton, of Warwick, Vivian Marseglia, of Cranston, and Veronica E. Lataille, and her husband, Michael, of Warwick; a brother, Francis Cintolo; and seven grandchildren, Skylar, Corey, Drew, Mark, Franki, Ava, and Michael. He was the brother of late Peter, Thomas, and Paul Cintolo; and was the father-in-law of the late Mario Marseglia.

His funeral services and interment with military honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
