Rocky Hill School invites the public for a personalized look at Rocky Hill education during its open house on Sunday, Oct. 26 from 12-2 p.m. Families who are interested in preschool through grade 12 can take a student-guided tour of the school’s 84-acre waterfront campus while meeting faculty, administrators, parents and alumni. Rocky Hill School is located at 530 Ives Road, East Greenwich.

Visitors to the open house event will learn how students are engaged through outdoor, experiential and project-based learning opportunities. They will also experience the discussion-based classrooms that integrate technology and learn of Rocky Hill School's partnerships with Trinity Repertory Company, URI and Save The Bay. Faculty and administrators from the school’s academic and co-curricular departments will be available to answer questions.

Other special programs and activities that will be available for visitors include a performing arts demonstration with Trinity Rep, marine programs and a touch tank along the waterfront, a robotics demonstration, linoleum block and ink printmaking, a soccer tournament and a hayride around the campus.

For additional information about financial aid scholarships, enrollment requirements, transportation, student services or any admission questions, contact Director of Admission Catherine Washburn at 884-9070, ext. 107 or visit www.rockyhill.org/admission.

Founded in 1934, Rocky Hill School is an independent day school for preschool through grade 12. Located on 84 acres along Narragansett Bay, Rocky Hill School provides a college preparatory foundation and diverse opportunities for students to explore and pursue their intellectual, athletic and artistic passions.
