Roger E. Bulkeley, 73, died April 8, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Vera B. (Witkowski) Granata.
Roger was the co-owner and founder of Vera’s Restaurant in Pawtuxet Village, that he owned for 17 years with his wife. He was a member of the Pawtuxet Athletic Club, where he had also worked as a bartender. An antique car enthusiast, he owned a number of antique cars throughout his life.
He was the father of Katherine Pearson and stepfather of John J. Granata; brother of Donna L. Ross, Peter J. Bulkeley and the late Robert A. Bulkeley and Edward A. Bulkeley. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
