Roger Williams Park Zoo has announced a year-round military discount for general Zoo admission. All active and retired military who show a valid military ID plus another form of identification will receive a 50 percent discount on regular Zoo admission. The discount can be applied for up to four immediate family members. The spouse of a deployed military person will also receive the discount with appropriate identification.
“We want to show our military men and women our deep appreciation for their service, and hope they enjoy well-deserved happy times at the Zoo with their families,” said Zoo Executive Director Jeremy Goodman.
Half-price admission for adults is $7.48, and for seniors over 62, it’s $6.48. For children ages 3 to 12, the fee is $4.98. Kids 2 and under get in free. The discount can be used year-round but may not be used with any other promotion or offer, such as the Winter Wonder Days discount. It also may not be applied to tickets for other paid events or special offerings.
On Veterans Day, Nov. 11, the military discount will be enhanced with free admission, and the additional three family members receiving the half-price admission.
