Rosalie A. (Muir) Tracey

Rosalie A. (Muir) Tracey, 73, of West Warwick, died peacefully at Brentwood Nursing Home on December 7, 2012. She was the wife of the late Ronald W. Tracey.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George W. Muir and Rose H. (Layden) Muir. Mrs. Tracey was a Medical Transcriptionist at Kent Hospital for ten years until her retirement. She was an active communicant of St. Gregory the Great Church, where she served in the Ministry of Consolation. She was a Court Appointed Special Advocate for many years.

She leaves her beloved daughter, Kristen A. Mauk and her husband, Jeffrey of Coventry. Cherished grandmother of Gillian Stirling Mauk and Elise Tracey Mauk. She was the loving sister of Mary Lee Foley of Rhode Island and Florida.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 8:45 a.m. from The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd, Warwick. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
