Rose M. Cournoyer and Caleb J. Martin were united in marriage June 19, 2011 by Dharma teacher Jamie Caster at Whispering Pines, West Greenwich, where a reception followed. Liz Ammerman served as the organist.
The bride is the daughter of Albert R. and Linda J. Cournoyer of Johnston. She is a graduate of Mount Saint Charles Academy and the University of Rhode Island, as well as earning her master’s degree at UConn. She is a graduate assistant in the URI doctoral program-biology.
The groom is the son of David B. and Linda M. Martin of Jamestown. He is a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School and Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He also received his master’s degree at UConn. He is a graduate assistant in the UConn doctoral program-mathematics.
The bride wore a Maggie Sottero Anastasia gown and carried a cascade of off-white roses, stephanotis, mini calla lilies and green cymbidium and ivy.
Angelica Lupo and Stephanie Knott were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Meg Cassidy, Danielle Cortessa, Mary Katherine Ragno, Lindsey Paniccia, Elizabeth Barry and Brenna McCabe.
Ted Bednarcik was best man.
The couple resides in Cranston.
