Keeping with tradition, the Warwick Rotary Club hosted a Christmas party for select students from all of the city’s elementary schools Thursday at Robertson School. The girls and boys ranging in age from 6 to 8 started the festivities decorating cupcakes that had been provided by Chelo’s. Then there was pizza from Domino’s, a magic show by Brenda Nason where more than live rabbits popped out of hats and boxes, and then, best of all, a visit from Santa. The kids had their picture taken with Santa and were given a gift purchased by Rotary Club members. In addition, thanks to the generosity of club member Kenneth Quaranto, parents and guardians received certificates to buy shoes when they came to pick up the children. Parents and guardians were also given certificates to get a winter coat at Target that was provided by the service club.
