For years, Baxter’s Fine Jewelry on Jefferson Boulevard has adopted a family or conducted some other form of community benefit for the holidays. This year, in the spirit of it being better to give than receive, the company offered for a four-day period to give a $50 Baxter’s gift card to those who brought in a toy to be donated to the Toys for Toys drive run by the Marine Reserves. The response was overwhelming, with toys filling a section of the showroom. Pictured with the toys that will be collected by the Marines on Thursday (from left) are Kim Sciotto in sales, co-founders Gloria and Robert Messerlian, president Paul Messerlian, master jeweler Sarkis Diarbian, Emily Hernandez in sales, Kevin Morris in sales and Janet L’Europa, sales.
