Primed for the spirit of the season

ONE OF 100: Genevieve Murray, one of many vendors at Saturday’s Fall Bazaar at the Pilgrim Senior Center, was personally touched by the Station Nightclub fire that killed 100 on Feb. 20, 2003. She said that the son of a woman who lived in her apartment building was one of those lost in the fire. Murray said she would be making 100 crosses, like the one she is holding, for the families of each of the victims.

GETTING OUT THE WORD: Deb Das, author of Jack the Cat, had her book for sale at the bazaar. She also passed out free bookmarkers and rubber frogs from her table. Here, she talks with Michelle Kotkofski and her granddaughter, Tatum Kotkofski.

SO MUCH TO PICK FROM: Anything and everything could be found from the wide display of items in the White Elephant room. Run by the center staff and volunteers, the bazaar netted $2,200 that will help class costs for programs offered at the center, said center director Meg Underwood.
