Bryant University students who adopted the Rhode Island Military Organization as a group project were honored Monday by the Warwick City Council and the military organization. As part of the project they revamped the RIMO website and developed programs to recruit and retain volunteers. They also designed a RIMO logo. The group worked with Ward 3 Councilman-elect Tim Howe and Ward 3 Councilwoman Camille Vella Wilkinson, who were instrumental in starting the organization. The group found coordinating schedules one of the most challenging aspects of the effort, which they hope will win an award and cash to RIMO.
