For the first time in 42 years, two-way traffic on that section of Post Road from William’s Corner to Veterans Memorial Drive will resume next Wednesday. Department of Transportation information officer Charles St. Martin called the move “another step” in the $71 million village circular protect involving the construction of five roundabouts. The next step, giving time for motorists to become familiar with the system, will be two-way traffic on Veterans Memorial Drive and the drive extension to the Toll Gate and Centerville Roads roundabout by the end of this month. Overall, the project is slated for completion at this time next year. (Warwick Beacon photo)
