Porter said she gained many “friends” at the three-day conference. A women’s Catholic organization, Circle 423 is one of only two circles located in Rhode Island, boasting 100 members who follow a motto of “unity, charity, and friendship. Porter said the Daughters of Isabella have donated more than $1.6 million and thousands of volunteer hours to charitable causes. (Submitted photo)
