Mobility Equipment Recyclers of New England, located in North Kingstown, once again gave the Gift of Mobility to three needy individuals this holiday season. Throughout the month of December, the environmentally-friendly company accepted nominations from those in need of high-quality, refurbished medical equipment. Contest participants can nominate themselves or someone in need of mobility devices like power wheelchairs, scooters, walkers and more. Once nominations close, winners are picked from a hat and receive a visit from “Santa and helpers” who drop off the devices. This year’s recipients were Brenda Robidoux of West Warwick, Paula Taylor of Seekonk, Mass. and Linda Quimby of Woonsocket. Pictured from left are Andrew Celani, general manager, Linda Quimby, power wheelchair recipient, and John Perrotti, owner/CEO.
