Bishop Hendricken High School’s leadership recently joined Mike Dacey, MD, president & COO Kent Hospital; Ellen Healy, MA-LMHC; Kim McDonough, RN; Dawn Sheehan, RN, and Candace Dyer, MD, and physician director of the Breast Health Center at Kent, to donate $2,000 to the WIN program. The program supports cancer patients with financial hardships. The donation was raised by Bishop Hendricken students who participated in various fundraising efforts. During breast cancer awareness month, Bishop Hendricken held a pink dress-down day where students were allowed to wear casual attire instead of their uniforms if they contributed to the WIN program. All proceeds from a student-run bake sale also contributed to the total donation. “Our students understand the cause at hand and considered the important women in their own lives,” said Martha Murray, director of development at Bishop Hendricken High School. “We are honored to help support this great program.” Pictured from left are Kim McDonough, RN; Margaret Rego, M.A.; Mike Dacey, president & COO Kent Hospital; Ellen Healy, MA-LMHC; Candace Dyer, MD; John Jackson, president of Bishop Hendricken High School; Martha T.
