Robertson School teacher Artena Fairbairn organized a Pink Day last Thursday for breast cancer awareness. A feature of the event was a challenge between fifth and sixth graders as to which class could wear the most pink. It didn’t stop with attire either, as students colored their hair and even their faces. Donations for the cause raised $625. Three members of the school staff are cancer survivors.
