A boost for mentoring

Thanks to the referral efforts of Senator Michael McCaffrey, the Rhode Island Mentoring Partnership has received an $11,000 grant from AT&T that will be used to expand its programs. “By organizing career exploration and college readiness activities for our mentoring program at the high school level, students will appreciate the value of their education and their mentoring relationships, as they create goals for themselves and their futures,” said Jo-Ann Schofield, RIMP president and CEO. Pictured with McCaffrey are Schofield, Brooke Thomson, Regional Vice President, External Affairs AT&T Services and Celeste Comeau-Mullane, RIMP program coordinator for secondary schools in Warwick and Cranston.
