Warwick Postal carrier Carie Pimental joined carriers across the country in the 24th annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive Saturday with the collection of food donated by residents. Carie said she found food in plastic bags suspended from fence posts as well as hanging from mailboxes. The food collected locally goes to the Rhode Island Food Bank. Carie filled in for Bill Raleigh on his Conimicut route Saturday. Nonetheless, Raleigh, who had the day off, participated in the drive. Accompanied by his three children, he made collections on his own. (Warwick Beacon photo)
