Mayor Allan Fung officially welcomed NetCenergy, experts in information technology, to the Cranston business community on Nov. 2. The move was part of the company’s ongoing expansion. NetCenergy’s new office is located at 1125 Pontiac Ave. The new space will allow the company to hire more people, expand its line of products, and welcome clients. Currently, approximately 50 people are employees. “This is not our first move,” said Donald Nokes, company president and one of the founders of NetCenergy, in a press release. “However, every move is an investment in our company. This one is no different. As we continue to stay up to date with technology and evolve, we want our offices to do the same. This expansion is the next big step for NetCenergy as a company. We are excited for the future.” Pictured, from left, are Lt. Gov. Dan McKee, U.S. Rep. Jim Langevin, NetCenergy Vice President of Business Development Dan Charland, Fung, and Nokes.
