As part of Fire Chief James McLaughlin’s ongoing campaign to give residents a peek inside their neighborhood fire station, meet the crew and let the kids climb aboard a fire truck, an open house was held Saturday at Station 4 at the intersection of Sandy Lane and West Shore Road. There was a steady stream of visitors. Notice of the opening was advertised locally and through the School Department. The monthly open house continues with Station 3 on West Shore Road near Veterans Junior High School on February 25 from 9 to 11 a.m.
