The fifth annual SENE Festival is their largest ever and will showcase 100 films, nine musical performances and 21 local artists. The Festival begins on Tuesday, April 23 with a special screening of the art documentary “Shut Up and Look” at the Warwick Museum of Art in Warwick.

The Warwick Museum of Art will also host the SENE Limelight Party on Thursday, April 25. The public is invited to meet the artists selected for the “Exploring Digital Arts” exhibit, view coming attractions and listen to musical performances by Sarah Ann McGinnis and Catalysis. SENE will also honor five individuals in the film, music and arts communities with their first annual SENE Limelight Awards. Complimentary wine, Narragansett Beer, hors d'oeuvres by Atomic Catering and desserts will be provided. Admission is $20 and includes a free ticket to any festival screening.

This year’s SENE Music Event takes place at the Brooklyn Coffee and Tea House in Providence on Wednesday, April 24 and features their popular Music Video Contest along with live performances by New York rock/pop musicians Jefferson Thomas and Matthew Foster-Moore. SENE will host their last U.S. performances before their European tour. Admission is $10 and includes complimentary beer, wine and snacks.

SENE is proud to be the first film festival to return to the recently re-opened Columbus Theatre in Providence. The majority of SENE’s film screenings take place at the Columbus on Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27. Feature films include “Everything Went Down,” “SAL,” “15 North” and the documentary “Fambul Tok.” Also screening are 11 short film programs featuring animated, comedy, drama, documentary, LGBT and international short films.

On Sunday, April 28 SENE will showcase Rhode Island and other regional filmmakers at the Cable Car Cinema in Providence. These include a short film program, the documentary “The Joy of Sox” and the feature films “Rising Star” and “Human Nature.”

This year SENE is offering the discounted SENE Pass, an all-access pass to all festival events for only $40. Tickets to most screenings are $10 ($8 for students and senior citizens).
