Bring your children, cameras, and appetites for photos, gingerbread treats, and more with Santa and Mrs. Claus on Dec. 4 at the Smith-Appleby House Museum in Smithfield.
While Santa and Mrs. Claus pose for photographs with the children and discuss their Christmas wish lists, the celebration will include Christmas carols by members of the St. Anthony’s Choir and performances by harpist Mary King.
Volunteers in colonial costumes will treat guests to hearthside cooking, gingerbread treats, refreshments, and the history of the 315-year-old home.
The Gingerbread Christmas celebration will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4. There is a $5 donation for adults and children are free. No reservations are needed.
