Joe Schiavulli has been named mortgage loan originator at Greenwood Credit Union.
Schiavulli brings more than 20 years of experience with national and community banks and credit unions, specifically in retail and wholesale mortgage lending. Recently, he served as business development manager for a National Field Services Company, as well as a real estate agent for commercial and residential properties.
At GCU, his duties will include all facets of counseling and lending for home purchases and re-financing. He and his family reside in Greenville.
Established in 1948, the Greenwood Credit Union is a community-based credit union headquartered on Post Road in Warwick. It has 53,000 members and 70 employees, and offers a full range of retail banking services. Greenwood Credit Union’s total assets as of Dec. 31, 2012 were $359 million.
