Christopher Collins from Warwick, an information technology student at the New England Institute of Technology, is a recipient of the Patricia Silvestre-DaSilva Memorial Scholarship. These scholarships, ranging from $750 to $3,000, were established by various trade organizations and companies. Other awards were presented by the New England Tech Alumni Scholarship Fund, as well as in memory of a friend, staff or faculty member of the college. Here, Collins (at left) is joined by NEIT President Richard I. Gouse, Manual DaSilva (husband of Patricia DaSilva) and Robert Silvestre (father of Patricia DaSilva).
