Scout Sunday was celebrated Feb. 6 at St. Peter Church. More than 50 boys and girls from the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts troops that meet at St. Peter Tri-Parish School participated in the mass as altar servers, singing in the choir, presenting the offertory gifts and passing the basket for the collection. Scouting principles include serving God and a duty to God. Scout Sunday is a chance for the youth to strengthen their commitment to their faith, family and community through the celebration of the liturgy as a Scouting family.
