Sen. Whitehouse extends dinner invitation

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse says listening to constituents is one of the most important and meaningful things he feels he can do as Senator. That’s why he is holding a community dinner on March 18th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Archie R. Cole Middle School at 100 Cedar Avenue in East Greenwich. The main topic of discussion will be what the community can do to help create jobs and put Rhode Islanders back to work. In a press release, he said, “hearing your personal stories and your ideas inspires me to fight every day for the hard-working families and small businesses of our state. And that's why I make a point to host community dinners: for the opportunity to listen to you.” To RSVP, visit whitehouse.senate.gov.
