Serve Rhode Island is recruiting volunteers to remove snow and ice for elderly and disabled residents. Volunteers will be matched with residents residing in or around their neighborhood and dependent upon availability.
All interested volunteers need to is complete the online survey/registration, which includes a waiver giving Serve Rhode Island permission to complete background checks; Email a copy of their license or photo ID to Amanda Ball at aball@serverhodeisland.org and provide their own snow removal tools. Once you have completed the waiver and sent in your photo ID, you will be contacted by a SRI staff member with assignment details.
Those who can’t volunteer are asked to consider making a donation to help with Serve Rhode Island’s volunteer coordination efforts.
