Shirley J. (Botello) Morgan, 63, died August 13, 2015. She was the beloved wife of George M. Morgan, Jr.
Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Lillian (Rathbun) Botello. Shirley had been employed with Leviton Mfg. for over 30 years. She received her Associate’s Degree from CCRI had worked as a substitute teacher’s assistant in West Warwick, Exeter and Foster. She was an active member in the Grange, the Shriner’s, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was very devoted to her husband, George, and will be remembered for her kindness and generosity.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sister, Peggy Vanasse, of Coventry.
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 20, 2015, from 4-6 p.m. with a service at 6 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Interment will be private.
