Cindy and John Morris of Morris Farm on Warwick Avenue have found more and more of their customers looking to grow their own vegetables and to give them a good start, the farm has an extensive variety ready to be planted. Especially popular are Big Beef tomatoes that already have flowers and are sure to produce juicy fruit soon enough. And in case you would just as soon go with farm fresh, John expects the first of native grown tomatoes to be on their stand by the second week in June. And as a tip, Cindy recommends gardeners ring their plots with onions – she holds one of the seedlings here – to discourage animals from wandering in.
