Artists’ Exchange proudly presents its first murder mystery this spring, “To Love and to Perish,” with performances on March 21 and 22 at 7 p.m. at Theatre 82.  Interactive and family-friendly, the show revolves around the wedding reception of “Kim and Jim” set in the year 1988. Love is like a battlefield at the Fay-Anderson wedding, where feuding families and grudging guests flow as freely as the champagne. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, beer and wine available for purchase. Show sponsors include Carl Anthony Tuxedo and Woodlawn Gardens Florist. 

The script is original, written by Director Jessica Bradley in collaboration with the entire cast and crew through improvisational and ensemble exercises. Big personalities, big conflict and big hair are just a few elements the audience can expect to experience. Upon arrival at the theatre, audience members will be immersed inside the reality of the actors’ world of 1988 at “Popta’s Palace of Perfection” wedding hall in Cranston. Celebrate the nuptials of Kim and Jim in the finest fashions of the decade, dance to the music and try to stay alive.

Amidst the toasts, ceremonial dances, and cake cutting, a wedding party member ends up dead. Guests will need to help piece together the clues and interrogate the suspects. Will you solve the crime and guess the murderer(s)? Fast-paced and fun, this wedding who-dun-it is the perfect entertainment for detectives and theatregoers of all ages.
