Due to the inclement weather, Special Olympics Rhode Island has rescheduled the induction of the third class of inductees into the 2014 Hall of Fame. Special Olympics Rhode Island will honor athletes, individuals, families and business leaders whose exemplary support, efforts and embodiment of the spirit of Special Olympics, make a significant impact on our program and the lives of the 2,800 athletes we serve.
The2014 inductees will be honored on April 24th at the Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony and Dinner to be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence. The evening will begin with a Reception at 6:00 p.m. followed by Dinner and Awards Ceremony at 7.
The2014 Inductees include:
Special Olympics Rhode Island Athletes:
ViJay Rao from Cranston and Kerry Stroker from Johnston (posthumously)
Special Olympics Rhode Island Coach:
Joni Lonczak from Narragansett
Special Olympics Rhode Island Family:
The Raymond Family from Woonsocket
