Special Olympics holding Benefest event in Warwick

Join Special Olympics Rhode Island for its Benefest 2013 event, which this year is themed “Casino Royale.”

The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, and it will include casino style gaming tables (for fun), appetizers and gourmet dinner, complimentary fine wine and beer, live music by Steve Anthony & Persuasion, live and silent auctions, a raffle and much more.

The main event begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner and dancing at 7:15 p.m. Prior to the main event, however, there is a VIP martini tasting beginning at 5 p.m. that will allow people to sample an array of appetizers and Keel Vodka martinis, sponsored by Keel Vodka.

The dress for the evening is cocktail attire and tickets are priced at $250 for a couple and $350 for a couple with martini tasting. For individuals, the cost is $125 or $175 with martini tasting.
