There were two pools at the Building Blocks Preschool at Warwick Central Baptist Church in Apponaug – one for splashing and another just to cool off and beat the heat. In the course of a week about 50 kids attend the school that operates from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. And yesterday there was one girl who preferred the shade to the water, Alivia Cota.
