Stephanie Van Patten, vice president of the Warwick Neck PTA and secretary of the Rhode Island PTA Council, was honored with the Star on Rhode Island PTA Way Volunteer Award Thursday night at the organization’s spring convention held at the Airport Radisson Hotel. Warwick Neck School PTA President Joseph Rodrigues, pictured here, nominated Stephanie for the distinction, which came as a surprise.
