Producer Stephen DeAngelis, who has produced over 200 different Broadway concerts at venues in New York and across the United States, will return to his native Rhode Island to produce his first concert in his home state. The concert, entitled Broadway Spotlight, which is being produced exclusively for Ocean State Theatre Company, in their intimate, stadium style venue in Warwick, will feature five great "straight-from-Broadway" performers, who will recreate some of their most memorable musical moments, including songs from Wicked, The Lion King and Cagney, as well as share some of their backstage stories.

Hosted by Rhode Island native, Stephen DeAngelis, with accompaniment by Eugene Gwozdz, performers scheduled to appear include Jackie Burns (Wicked, If/Then, Rock of Ages, Hair); Robert Creighton (Cagney, Anything Goes, Chicago, The Little Mermaid); Felicia Finley (Mamma Mia!, The Wedding Singer, Aida, Smokey Joe's Café); Matthew Hydzik (West Side Story, Grease, Side Show); and Kissy Simmons, who played Nala in The Lion King for nine years, making her the longest running Nala ever!

Jackie Burns most recently won rave reviews for her portrayal of Elizabeth on the National Tour of If/Then, which played in Rhode Island this past June. She holds the distinction of being Broadway’s longest running Elphaba in Wicked, a role she also played on the show’s National Tour and for which she received an IRNE nomination. Other Broadway credits include Hair (Revival, Original Cast) and If/Then (Original Cast). Off-Broadway credits include the original cast of Rock of Ages.Robert Creighton has appeared in numerous Broadway productions including The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Durdles) with Chita Rivera and Stephanie Block; Anything Goes (Purser/Moonface Martin) with Sutton Foster and Joel Grey; Chicago (Amos Hart); The Lion King (Timon), The Little Mermaid (Chef Louis) with Sierra Boggess, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; and Laughing Room Only. Mr. Creighton is also the co-author and star of Cagney! the award-winning new Off-Broadway musical about film legend James Cagney.

Felicia Finley was recently seen starring as Tanya in the Broadway company of Mamma Mia!. Her previous Broadway credits include The Wedding Singer (Linda), Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida (Amneris), Smokey Joe's Café and The Life. In addition to her appearance in The Lion King, Kissy Simmons, has appeared in several national commercials, print ads and voiceovers. Her television and film credits include “Smash,” “30 Rock,” “Hope & Faith” and “Six Degrees of Separation” to name a few.

Eugene Gwozdz is the Music Director/Arranger for the American Dance Machine 21 and the Duke Ellington Center for the Arts.
